It was founded in 1996 and has been working tirelessly to promote social change and bring about sustainable development in the region. we believe that every individual has the right to a life of dignity, free from discrimination and exploitation, and work towards achieving this through their various initiatives. The organization is dedicated to the upliftment of the youths, marginalized and disadvantaged sections of society, especially women, children, and persons with disabilities.

Story of success candidates
The Journey of Rina Thapa
Rina Thapa, a young woman from a remote village in Manipur, had dreams of a better future. However, limited educational opportunities and financial constraints held her back. That’s when she discovered SAS Manipur’s training programs under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY). Rina enrolled in the hospitality management course at SAS Manipur. Through rigorous training, practical workshops, and exposure to industry experts, she honed her skills. Upon graduation, Rina secured a job as a front desk executive at a prestigious hotel in Imphal. Her confidence soared, and she became a role model for other rural youth. Today, Rina not only supports her family but also actively participates in community development initiatives. She credits SAS Manipur for transforming her life and empowering her to break free from the cycle of poverty.
The Journey of Rajesh Singh
Rajesh Singh, a young graduate from SAS Manipur’s hospitality program, had a passion for gaming and entertainment. While many of his peers pursued traditional hotel management roles, Rajesh had a different dream—to work in the vibrant casino industry. After completing his training at SAS Manipur, Rajesh secured an internship at Deltin Goa, one of India’s premier floating casinos. Under the guidance of experienced game dealers, he learned the intricacies of blackjack, poker, and roulette. His attention to detail, quick thinking, and friendly demeanor made him a standout employee. Impressed by his skills, Deltin Goa offered Rajesh a full-time position as a game dealer. Today, he interacts with guests from around the world, ensuring they have an unforgettable gaming experience. Rajesh’s journey from Manipur to Goa exemplifies how SAS Manipur’s training opens doors to diverse career paths.
